Well i contacted 2 places in cardiff, the first one was the wales millenium centre, they didn't really have the ability to hold what we would like to hold which in some respects was a shame as I would have considered it for the future. I contacted cardiff university and mentioned earlier. Im going to try and get in touch with cardiff international arena in the near future to see whether they have the capabilities of hosting the type of conference we are after. Although im not looking to push a bid this year. In the unfortunate event that uk doesnt get 2010, i would like to attempt one for cardiff in the future but anyway back to the topic at hand. I think getting in touch with technology companies would be a useful step to get donations even if they are in the form of equipment. Which they may even prefer.
