Subject: Call for applications — Wikipedia Editing Residency at Konvent (Art+Feminism community)
To: Art + Feminism <info@artandfeminism.org>, <info@martadelatte.com>

Dear Art+Feminism colleagues,

Following our recent conversations, I wanted to share the call for the Wikipedian editing residency titled Editing Is an Act of Love that we are organizing this summer at Konvent de Cal Rosal (Berga, Catalonia), in collaboration with Amical Wikimedia and Art+Feminism Barcelona.

The residency will take place from August 3 to 16, 2026 and will bring together a small group of editors, researchers, artists, and cultural practitioners interested in working collectively on Wikipedia and other projects within the Wikimedia ecosystem (Wikidata, Commons, etc.), with particular attention to underrepresented genealogies, feminist knowledge, and marginalized cultural practices.

Berga is a rural area about 1.5 hours from Barcelona. The residency will be hosted at Konvent, an independent cultural space located in a former convent that now operates as a site for artistic production, residencies, and experimental cultural projects.

Participation is free of charge and includes accommodation and workspaces at Konvent. We are also currently exploring ways to cover food expenses, although travel costs would need to be covered by participants.

The application deadline is April 10, 2026.

Attached you will find the guidelines in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and the application form is available here.

We would be very grateful if you could share the call within your networks or consider applying.

Warmly,
Marta
