Dear all
The Wikimedia UK article on Wikipedia is rather out of date (although
thanks to whoever has added Josie as Chair and made a few other edits
recently). Whilst I appreciate that most people will have other priorities,
if anyone could spare the time to edit the page with more up to date
information that would be much appreciated, as obviously it would be a COI
for any of the staff or board to do it.

(which gives an overview of our programmes and reach, and shows that our
revenue for 2016/17 was £593,051, not over a million sadly!) and our

includes the updated mission statement. We currently have 10 staff, not 8.

Hi all
Just a reminder that the Wikimedia UK staff team will be hosting some
drinks (and possibly even nibbles) in our new office in Southwark this
Thursday, from 5 to 7pm. The address is Office 1, Ground Floor, Europoint, 5-11
Lavington Street, London SE1 0NZ. It's a five minute walk from Southwark
tube station or 10 - 15 minutes from both Waterloo and London Bridge (and
thankfully the tube strike has been called off!)
Please do email nicola.furness@wikimedia.org.uk ASAP if you're able to join
us - or indeed, if you're no longer able to, so we know how many tea bags*
to buy.
