Não sei, também me questionei sobre isso.

Caros,

Não estamos na lista, nem me lembro disto ter sido discutido.... quais
foram então os nossos 3 projectos "mais fixes" (ou melhor: quais é que
indicaram)?

Hi all,

a while ago, I sent this request to all chapters (and some poking to individuals) and in the mean while, the form has been filled by 18 chapters! Thanks a lot to all that helped out! I would really like to have a full overview though, so here are the chapters that are still missing. If you belong to that, please fill in the informal form, and help me out! It will only take 5 minutes! And remember, there is a little bonus question at the actual form.

The form is here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dDFIeFp5OHgtRXBmR0lhSXJlM2RORkE6MQ&ifq

These chapters are still missing:
Wikimedia Australia
Wikimedia Česká republika
Wikimedia Canada
Wikimedia España
Wikimedia Hong Kong
Wikimedia India
Wikimedia Macau
Wikimedia Nederland
Wikimedia New York City
Wikimedia Norge
Wikimedia Österreich
Wikimedia Philippines
Wikimedia Sverige
Wikimedia Ukraine
Wikimedia Србије
(yes, we really have that many chapters!)

Thanks a lot,

Lodewijk

Subject: Dear chapters: Please send me your top 3 coolest projects
To: "Local Chapters, board and officers coordination (closed subscription)" <internal-l@lists.wikimedia.org>, chapters <chapters@wikimedia.ch>

Dear chapter representatives,

a little while ago, I embarked onto a crazy idea: try to make one overview presentation for Wikimania of all the coolest, brightest and most exciting chapter projects throughout the world. Trying to show the potential of what chapters can do - not focussing on single projects, or even best practices, but mainly on cool ideas and giving an overview of the chapter activities.

And to do that, I need your help! If you want me to include your chapter into this overview, I would like to ask you to send me:
1) the names/topics of your top-3 (or less) projects which you were one way or another (starting, finishing off) involved in since June 2010 (also possible to send upcoming projects!)
2) a contact person which I can approach for more information
3) if available, a link to a project page

I don't ask you to write extensive descriptions, I just want to know what to look for - if I have questions, I will come back to you. Please use the following form to send me this information: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dDFIeFp5OHgtRXBmR0lhSXJlM2RORkE6MQ

Since I don't have influence on the duration of the slot I will get (I expect I can easily fill 1,5 hour with this topic), I cannot guarantee that your topic gets in, and I might merge activities of several chapters into one activity as example.

Thanks a lot for your input, and please let me know if you have any questions. If the for doesn't work for you, just email me directly.

Hoping for many very nice projects in the spreadsheet soon,

Lodewijk

ps: of course you are all welcome to join the session at Wikimania and see the outcomes!
