Hi all,
Today we had a fantastic meeting with Eric Latiff Capital Fm News Presentor and also KTN TV news anchor.
The members Present were Alex, Abbas, Oscar, Steve, Isaac and two guys from the the Mozilla Team- Cliff and
I am Glad to report that Eric is now a member of Wikimedia Kenya,
We discussed a number of points as follows:
1. Wiki projects for Wikimedia Kenya, - the Projects that we are undertaking/about to under take being Wiki takes Nairobi and the Road trip(  we are yet to come up with a name for this), we shared on making this projects a success and Eric suggested that we promote it through social networks and that we do it over a longer period say 2 weeks as opposed to a 1 day event.
2. Wikipedia for Schools- he suggested that we get some people probably experienced scholars/authors  to check on the offline content once its done, this could even be in form of endorsement of the project by ICT board and/or KIE - this will give us a boost.

He also promised his full support and commitment to our activities and said that we keep him updated on our progress regarding registration, he is willing and ready to help whenever possible.
