Good suggestion Oscar. What I actually have in mind is the portable folder of Kiwix that contains all the necessary files, so that all they need to do is to copy the folder to drive C's program files and then launch the application from that folder, or better yet create a shortcut of the app on the desktop
I suggest that you wait for the manual, I believe that it should be ready very early tomorrow. I may post it tonight so that you guys can make final touches.
On the same note, since I lost my copy of the zim file I won't be able to make screenshots on that, so I will assign one of you. Please be a lil patient and the manual will be online. Cheers

Sam,
No DVDs have been packaged yet. We will do that on Saturday.Just help us create the content.Or lets follow your suggestions as we may not have enough time to sync.who does fast, set the de-facto standards in that case its you.so we will be made to adopt and sync with your standards, feel free to go ahead with whatever you are doing.Just get in touch with Alex.

My view is don't include the zipped Kiwix,we will unzip for them so make no mention of the zipped version to them.

Thanks for your efforts.

Hi. I am currently  preparing a simple manual for use of Kiwix and Wikipedia for Schools. I would like to know if the teams have already packaged the files to DVD copies that will be left for the schools. If yes, then I would like  to know the content folders of the DVDs and how they are arranged. If not then I suggest that the DVDs have two folders and the Zim file on the root system. The two folders should be named "User Guide" and "Kiwix", alongside the zim file. In that case the DVDs have to wait till we finish preparing this user manual so that we can package it as well. If the packages are ready then it is ok, we can avail some of the files like the user manual separately. Please let me know ASAP
