Excellent report on the Google meeting. It looks like your group has some good momentum. A couple of notes:
1. Do you have someone from ChapCom working with you on the requirements for forming the chapter? If not, I can ask them to assign someone to work with you.
2. Have you explored the legal requirements in Kenya for creating an NGO. If you need to hire an Attorney for this, WMF can provide some funding. We can also fund events before you are a chapter, if there are things you want to achieve. In general, you can apply for grant funding to support your activities as you build the chapter. 3. On Omidyar, I am planning to speak to Stephen King on a number of subjects and will discuss Chapter funding with him and then update you. I will also arrange a meeting if he is coming to Nairobi soon.
