Laico may not be offering that, I think its important to work with a tour company for the transfer and probably his entire transport. Why is hosting the event an IF?
I'll talk to the Office of the Executive Director so that we can liaise Ting's expenses. Regarding the "if", I hadn't written that email; rather I copied and pasted it from another source, so pardon me for the typo. Speaking of which, how many people are we targeting? 100? 150?

On another note, I talked to Jessica, please email her introductory materials and an update on our activities, she is interested in joining. Subscribe her to the list, jessica@ihub.co.ke

The Wikimedia Community all over the world is busy preparing for Wikipedia 10. Please check: http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page for more info.

The Foundation will be sending some awesome Wikimedia paraphernalia including:
* tshirts (two styles, one a basic Wikipedia shirt and the other a Wikipedia '10' 'team shirt')
* a pack of 12 Wikipedia 10th anniversary buttons, and simple Wikipedia puzzle globe buttons
* paper labels with the Wikipedia tenth logo and style
* and Wikipedia vinyl stickers
* (and maybe some other cool stuff)

They'll also send out kits of 50 tshirts of varying sizes -- though if we're hosting a bigger event, they'll send out more.

Lastly, Ting will be arriving here on 9th Jan and departing on 15th Jan. He'll be staying at Laico Regency, and I do hope LR offers airport pickup as well (since he'll be arriving at 3am!!).
