Hi Kosgei (and all),

Good luck :) And I can vouch for the UK chair (Roger) - met him and his wife in Haifa.

Re promotion - it'd also be worth contacting the WP:SIGNPOST guys from en.wikipedia - they have an email address at WikipediaSignpost@Gmail.com, this gets the word out throughout the Wikipedia community

We had already created an event page on facebook which is still not opened to the public as we deem that the commpetition is still under incubation. We do not want to break the news to so many guys before we get the dough to buy the prizes and to roll out the project. AFAIK, our budget proposal for this is still pending approval by WM-france.

Journalist friend of mine from Us working for the Huffington post yesterday and they will be glad to write an article and post the results of the competition.
Over the last week I have been discussing with Iolanda Pensa from Italy and she also says that Domus magazine would be really interested in publishing the results of Wikipedia takes Nairobi. Domus is a quite well-know magazine specialized in architecture and design in Italy.

A great job indeed for speaking with the media personalities who I know have a lot to bring onto the table; being judges, and they can as well participate in the scavenger hunt .

Regarding the sponsorship of the competition I had a discussion with Alex about it today and we are awaiting the reply from Wikimedia France. WMUK are also willing to sponsor I had a discussion with their chair today.
