As for the venue, try visiting eatout.co.ke they have a list of most of the hotels and restaurants in kenya. They list out the best places to go for meetings, corporate dining, cocktails, conference facilities, hotel dining, WiFi... the site also shows a map giving the location of every hotel included in their listing.

Laico may not be offering that, I think its important to work with a tour company for the transfer and probably his entire transport. Why is hosting the event an IF?

The Foundation will be sending some awesome Wikimedia paraphernalia including:
* tshirts (two styles, one a basic Wikipedia shirt and the other a Wikipedia '10' 'team shirt')
* a pack of 12 Wikipedia 10th anniversary buttons, and simple Wikipedia puzzle globe buttons
* paper labels with the Wikipedia tenth logo and style
* and Wikipedia vinyl stickers
* (and maybe some other cool stuff)

They'll also send out kits of 50 tshirts of varying sizes -- though if we're hosting a bigger event, they'll send out more.

Lastly, Ting will be arriving here on 9th Jan and departing on 15th Jan. He'll be staying at Laico Regency, and I do hope LR offers airport pickup as well (since he'll be arriving at 3am!!).
