Thanks, Steve, for a very informative overview webpage.

However, who’s going to understand all the legalese and be able to make an informed decision based on the content of that overview? Certainly not me! J

Can someone with more legal competency / knowledge summarise the issues in everyday language and let us know what our options are, and for each options answer the following issues:

  1. what’s the liability for the members?
  2. what are the requirements with regard to tax and report filing?
  3. are there any restrictions on membership?
  4. what’s the status with regard to for profit vs non-profit?
