I do firmly believe in the need for enthusing young/new editors to stay on
board. I'd be glad to help out. At the moment we have a lot of young folk
in the Wikipedia Pune Club an informal interaction seems the best way to
mentor them. Its a pleasure to interact with them & they are very helpful.
Warm regards,
Ashwin Baindur

+1 and add my thanks to AshLin. I was just
discussing the question
Anirudh
raises with the India Programs team 12 hours ago.
There are different
discussions to be had wrt helping young/new editors integrate into the
en:wp
community. It would be good to pilot some
localized outreach/mentorship
approaches to see what works (and then share that across the country and
beyond).
I you have any plans in mind, please let us know.
We will take it up further through the chapter SIGs.
