*Cross posting!*
Hi,
the Mumbai community had organised a photowalk to support Wiki Loves
Monuments in India; organised by Wikimedia India Chapter.
Scheduled on 22 September Saturday morning at 8 am, Dadar Nakshatra mall
was the meeting point for all. However, the morning wasn't good at all
because of heavy rains and hence had to go forward with 9 participants
after waiting for an hour at the meeting point.
We all went in a single group and firstly went to Mahim fort (which is no
longer left), Bandra Fort, Sion Fort, August Kranti Maidan and Banganga
Tank. If it wasn't heavy rains, things would have been different, though
whether was is not in our hands. Less participants also made possible in
better knowing of all and they were amazed with such plans and made sure to
participate in further events.
On behalf of Wiki Loves Monuments India team, I would like to thank *Nikita
Belavate, Krutikka Jawanjal and Manan Shah*. Nikita had worked on with
lists by preparing plans and also stayed in touch with participants post
Photowalk and guided them on how to upload to Wikimedia Commons. Krutikka
helped in inviting lots of friends, and stood till the end on-ground
lending a strong support. She also stood connected with participants
post-Photowalk. Missed Manan at the event, though he had poured in with
lots of ideas for the Photowalk. *Thank you again all three, for helping
make things possible. *Never to forget international organisers *Effiet
Sanders *and *Tomasz Kozlowshi* for helping organising and yeah, Naveen
deserves more than thanks :)

Not to forget all participants who stood with us in the rainy climate and
walked with us in all levels. Some of them have already uploaded images
while some of them will be doing it soon. Thanks all!
