Sound Cloud has some clips too but many are reproduction of copyrighted music. - Free Music Archive (http://freemusicarchive.org/) has a lot of downloadable audio files. - Both archive.org and soundcloud.com have options to search only cc licensed music. - http://www.ektoplazm.com claims of having 7 million free licensed music files - More links to such portals at: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/creative-common-music-download - WikiCommons has a lot of music, but it might be little difficult to search them Best! I found the following for my use case: 1. http://vimeo.com/musicstore?license=cc Please use the advanced filters near search box for choosing the license, instrumental option. 2. http://dig.ccmixter.org/free_music Please use the advanced dig option there for choosing the style, instrument. 3. http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/ You can choose genre and feel there. 4. http://www.freesound.org/ Some cool clips there. You can browse by tags to find more genres and instruments. 5. Audiofarm.org Frederick, it will be a good idea in general to create and release Indian music under CC. There is a severe shortage for such clips. But, I do not need anything in particular at the moment. Thanks, Ravi
