Good work. I liked this tool as a tester when you sent to me. Apart from the ease of keying in from mobile browsers, this has the advantage of being a short url that'll indicate what the target link is about.

A few days back, there was discussion around ShortUrl. I have made another small tool(code) which takes English Wiki article name and redirects to the language Wikipedia. The redirection app is live.
will redirect to Chennai article in Oriya Wikipedia. We have also made this available as part of tawp.in
shorturl domain, hence tawp.in/en/ArticleNameInEnglish
will redirect to corresponding interwiki article in Tamil. Building this into a mediawiki extension might be useful since not all mobiles may support Indic input schemes and first step to read an article is to type the URL!.
