While no other types are mentioned, we are open to having Special Interest
Groups for other categories like GLAM, MW, et al.
Both the nominee as well as the nominator, or in the case of a self
nomination, as well as the person seconding it, have to be a member of the
Chapter at the time of the nomination.
This is a prerequisite as the SIG Chair becomes a representative of the
Chapter EC.

The Chair doesn't have to be a member at the time of nomination, as longs
as he applies for membership once accepted? (Although this is
contradictory, the one who does the nomination or if they nominate
themselves, they need to be already members, according to the top of the
page?)
