== National-level Wikipedia Education Program review meeting at Christ University Bengaluru ==

During this 18-19th, a two-day long national-level Wikipedia Education Program Review meeting was organized at Christ University, Bengaluru. Around 25 participants consisting of Wikipedia Education Program (WEP) leaders from institutes like St. Aloysius College Mangalore, Maharashtra and Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women's Study Centre participated in this event. The event aimed at collaboratively build an educational project in languages like Kannada, Marathi, Telugu and Tulu.


WEPs organized by CIS-A2K have managed to enroll about 3000 students so far to the program where the participating student have contributed in creating Wikipedia articles in five Indic languages and editing them as part of their classroom task.

Subhashish Panigrahi gave a talk in the panel “The challenges of making regional language content available on the Web and on mobiles.
