While I join Ashwin in thanking all the outgoing chapter board members, as well as Anirudh
and Sudhanwa for staying, as a chapter member myself, I would like to understand why
5 out of 7 members of a board are resigning, some in excess of 1 year of their term left,
and others with more than 6 months to go on their term. I know that some of the reasons may
well be personal, and some, not. However, this is an unusual situation, and if each one of
the departing chapter board members might write to this list explaining why they are leaving,
with some idea of what they learnt and things they wish to see in the future, that would be
very useful - and it would serve as a good record for this chapter's growth and future.

Best wishes,
Achal
