Hi,

As part of the program for Supporting Indian language Wikipedias, we are glad to announce an article writing contest to address the content gap that exists online. This contest has a special focus to create articles that are most sought out by users online but not yet present in Indian language Wikipedias.

* Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each participating community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes will be worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR respectively.

* At the end of the three-month-long contest, the community with the maximum number of articles expanded or created will win a community prize. This will be an exclusive 3-day capacity training event for the winning community.

To learn more and coordinate the contest on behalf of your community, please visit the contest portal page.
