Hello Everyone

I am writing to inform you that the UNESCO New Delhi office is hosting a Women's Day edit-a-thon on 03rd March 2020. It will be a 2-hour long event from 11 am to 1 pm. The theme for this year is "Women for change". Wikimedians from any language community can join this event. The acceptable number of participants is 20 and considering that this is a celebration of women's day, preference will be given to females. We all appreciate the contribution of all the amazing men who have always helped us in bridging the gender gap but as this is a global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, we would like more women to join the edit-a-thon. We would really appreciate everyone joining us remotely. In case you wish to organize an edit-a-thon on the same theme that day, please share your interest.
Please reply to this email or contact me directly before 26th February 2020 to submit your interest to be a part of this event.
Note: We will create a Telegram group with interested wikimedians, to discuss this further.

Thanks & Regards,
Manav
