Looks like "Call for Participation" in the title is misleading to many.

It is supposed to be call for papers (for speakers) and not call for
attendees registration.

Most of us know this properly, but considering lot of students will be
checking it out, it is possible to mislead them as mentioned in the
other mail by the student.

Looks like we have to give some more clarity on the web page.
