I request admins of all Wikimedia India projects to kindly :

  1. Declare the results of the Noteworthy Wikimedian Recognition on your wikimedia project village pumps (discussion portals). See the English Wikipedia entry for the same at:

  2. Create a userbox for userpage of the winners and award them. See the specimen cicrulated by me amongst jury at:

  3. Create a suitable barnstar for all nominees and award them. See the barnstar at the page of Sundar (nominee) and Bhadani (winner):

To Bala, Please use these as a starting point. The userbox had been circulated amongst jury members and no comments were received so I suppose that all is well. I chose Barnstar of National Merit from the WikiProject India page.

I would like to thank the entire Jury  personally for their time and efforts toward the NWR 2011 exercise.

This is the first year for the NWR 2011 and we have tried our best to make this exercise participative. Next year we hope to do even better. We welcome everyone's inputs to make this even process better next year.  
 
The intention of this exercise was to Discover, Document, Recognize and Share the contributions of prolific Wikimedians. As you will appreciate this is an ongoing process. We hope we taken a small step in that direction.
