Thanks for sharing - would definitely be appreciated if we had .SVG formats to use.  We're encountering this problem with some of the really beautiful stuff people have uploaded on the Wikipedia 10 gallery on Commons - lots of great stuff, but it's all PNG, which means we can't print them off as big banners :(

So if anyone has the ability, would be great if you could also upload SVG versions alongside PNGs.  Even if we can't get it done in time, would be great to have these as part of the historical record.
