I found the following for my use case:

Please use the advanced filters near search box for choosing the license, instrumental option.

2. http://dig.ccmixter.org/free_music

Please use the advanced dig option there for choosing the style, instrument.

3. http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/

You can choose genre and feel there.

4. http://www.freesound.org/

Some cool clips  there. You can browse by tags to find more genres and instruments.

5. Audiofarm.org

Frederick, it will be a good idea in general to create and release Indian music under CC. There is a severe shortage for such clips. But, I do not need anything in particular at the moment.
