Here are some reaction from Indian media

The above Hindi news says that Wikipedia is going to get bankrupt soon.

3) The attached Bengali newspaper below says in the first line that readers now may have to pay to read Wikipedia.

Hey all,

The Wikimedia Foundation will be running another fundraising test today as we move closer to our full fundraising campaign later this year. We will be looking to see how our infrastructure (both human and machine alike) perform over a 24 hour period. Thank you to those in the indian communities who have supported us already and I'd like to thank you all in advance for your support and patience.

As before:

* If you need to report a bug or technical issue, please create a phabricator ticket [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/task/edit/form/1/?template=118862].
* If you see a donor on a talk page, OTRS or social media having difficulties in donating, please refer them to donate@wikimedia.org.
* If you have specific ideas to share, please feel invited to add them to our fundraising ideas page [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising/2019-20_Fundraising_ideas].

Many Thanks
