*Georgina Burnett* <georgina.burnett@wikimedia.de> works in the software development department at Wikimedia Deutschland, the German chapter of the Wikimedia movement.
Together with some colleagues, she is looking to talk to user groups about Wikibase. She explains: "Wikibase is an open-source and free software that we develop and maintain in our software development department. It was originally developed to run Wikidata, but increasingly, it is being used by institutions to manage, maintain and connect their own data. We'd love to see Wikibase be used around the world, so we're keen to connect with local Wikimedians in India to talk about the project."
She asked our Wikipedians of Goa User Group if they could deliver an introductory presentation at one of our meetings or events, adding: "We'd love to explore the project in more detail together with you, and answer any questions you have."
