I thought it might be worthwhile to put some attention on what a well planned and effective Wikipedian in Residence program looks like. Especially for anybody on this list whose introduction to the topic was the Belfer Center program, this might be a worthwhile read: Five things a Wikipedian in Residence can do: http://wikistrategies.net/5-things-wikipedian-in-residence/ This is of course only "5 things" -- not "the" 5 things. Perhaps others will post ideas about what a great WiR does.
