Dear fellow Wikipedians,

Yesterday, Vishnu Vardhan, the CIS-A2K programme director, sent a Very Long Email to this list, titled "Statement on CIS-A2K's FDC Proposal".

I suspect the subject line, and the length of the e-mail, may have discouraged many from bothering with it.  This is a brief message encouraging you to make the effort, this once, as I believe the significant news shared in it are worth hearing.
