If we were to do away with the stereotyping of India, one good way is to rotate different styles from different cultures.
It would be really nice to showcase the variety in India. If that would be too much trouble, I agree that a neutral message can be preferred.

need not search for dravidian looking fonts :) just don't project devanagiri looking fonts alone :)

any aesthetic english font is fine.
