As every year we the members of Kutch Amateur Astronomers' Club are taking part in the Rann Utsav 2011 which organizes at the Kala Dungar (The Black Hills) and the white salty desert of Dhorado village in the northern Kutch (80kms from Bhuj city). This year the event will bring more fun and excitement because the total lunar eclipse is on the same day (10th December) and the view of the copper moon above the white salty flats of the desert will be undoubtedly breathtaking! There will be more interaction with the people who will be coming from outside the country.
