Monday, myself and Anwar Met Mr. Prakash of Roja Muthiah Research Library, Chennai

They have a huge number of books and catalog.

We explained about Kaniyam Foundation, FreeTamilEbooks.com and WikiData.

Requested them to share their books catalog to import in Wikidata.

They agreed and asked for the required fields of data, so that they can query in their db and export them and share.

Natkeeran from tamil wiki gave this spreadsheet with required fields

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xftUPk8LQmuhvLIYiWIFQKDX4FCEQ64FjAAFubJAD3Q/edit?usp=sharing

This is a generic catalog fields for any book.

Is this fine?

What we have to do, once we received the books details, to import into wikidata?

Do we have to get any permission or letter from Roja Muthiah library to announce this as open data?

Share your thoughts.

Thanks.
