Hey Subha,

Delhi mailing list is dead for a very long time. Every time I request Theo to approve the mails but I receive no response.

Anyways, the issue here is regional mailing list also need moderators.

If I can float a suggestion - We should revamp all mailing list that require attention at the moment.

I so want to step down from the Delhi list if we are discussing about that as well. :)

It’s been 5 years since I left Delhi and it makes sense for someone local to take over. For the record, I also lost the password and probably Theo needs to add the new moderator.

Happy to add anyone interested for Bangalore.

I agree Krishna,

At the same time, let us review the non-active admins as well, or any admin who wants to step down.

Dear all,

The Indian community mailing list is arguably the most used mailing list by the Indian Wikimedia community. However, recently some users have reported problems with subscription and sending messages as non-subscribers. All these issues are need to be dealt by the list admins at the earliest possible. However, the issues remain unsolved.

So I think more active community members must be added as mailing list admins so that these issues can be addressed in a timely manner.

Looking forward for comments from other members.

Regards,
