We are extremely sorry for the delay in response and for causing inconvenience. We collaborated with WAM and WWWW because we didn't want communities to be bifurcated.

We will try to explain everything.

1. We know that WWWW happened last year in October, and WAM is being organized every November month since 2015. We didn't want to clash with the timing of these contests but sadly we didn't have another choice this time as we had to run Project Tiger within this year. This has helped us in distributing infrastructure support to various community members.

2. We agree that we should have discussed with communities about collaborations with other content writing campaigns.

We did inform the communities about this via email and village pumps (on 29 October). We wanted the communities to participate in other contests along with PT2.0.
Thank you for showing your concern regarding collaborations and confusion.

However, "Submitted articles which are not in the Project Tiger list but are on Wikipedia Asian month list, can be considered. If the article is not in both the lists, it should be discarded".

3. When we asked communities to generate their own local list, most community members didn't have much time due to their busy schedules.
Many communities mentioned that Google provided lists are not enough for them because articles are too short and they don't have a good amount of time to expand it by themselves. So, these collaborations were a platform where communities had space to create content which is more important for their Wikipedia. And after the contests are over, we can analyze which type of content was prioritized by the communities and how many articles were created from Google lists. It will be helpful for future PT.

4. Thank you to all the communities who are participating and giving their precious time to PT2.0. We request all jury members to please take care of the quality of articles. Template articles will not be considered and it's only in hand of Jury. Jury members have the authority and can reject articles and spread a word to their communities that article quality is necessary and machine-translated articles should be rejected.

5. Wikipedia Asian Month has been extended until 7 December 2019 because the internet was shut in Iran down for a week. As a gesture of solidarity, the WAM team decided to extend it to all communities.

We hope we will do our best for the next time. We are very sorry for any confusion caused. We will try not to commit the same mistakes again. Thank you so much.

This means anybody can write any articles. If that so why google should give those title?
6. we have worked more than 20 days for the Local Topics. From this change Now We felt it’s a waste of time.

We hope all are well! There is a question that has been raised by the communities regarding Wikipedia Asian Month articles and WAM collaboration with Project Tiger 2.0.
We want to clear the confusion regarding this. GLOW 2019 or Project Tiger 2.0 is an Indic local language contest but creating or expanding content need not be related to India or local topics necessarily. Because in Project Tiger, article lists provided by Google have topics related to national and international interest too.

Project Tiger 2.0 collaborated with Wikipedia Asian Month and WWWW because both are crucial contests for local Wikipedias. Collaboration was necessary because we wanted to stabilize/bring together all the communities. WAM is a big contest and if we didn't collaborate with it, the possibility was community members breaking into two groups, one for PT2.0 and the other for WAM.

Our agenda should be to merely increase or develop content on local wikis. In the last iteration of WAM, participants created articles on Asian countries or anything which are related to Asia excluding one's own country. But the WAM team decided to change its rules for Project Tiger 2.0. Now we can create local articles also under WAM and submit the same under Project Tiger 2.0. After 30 November, 2019, those articles will be considered which are in the lists. Further, if you have any questions please let us know.
