Dear friends,

I wish to thank all Indian Wikimedians for your support during the WMF BOT elections which concluded early this morning. I am especially grateful to all the Indic language communities which gave me an opportunity to present my candidacy to their members. My best wishes to all the four candidates who stood from India for this election. A special shout-out to Krishna Chaitanya Velaga for all his hard work to make this election a success. :)

I hope that this election throws up at least one candidate from India. Regardless of outcome, I am honoured to have been chosen by the Indian community to stand as one of its candidates.
