I think the discussion has gone off on a bit of a tangent here.<br><br>As far as the hospitality (or lack of it) goes, its not <i>that </i>big a deal and certainly does not deter me from conducting any academies in the future. (and it shouldn&#39;t deter Srikanth as well)<br>
<br>That being said we should not overlook the fact that the 2 hour session was cut short to a paltry 1 hour (with interruptions in between) because<br><br>a. The organizers arrived late. <br>We were told the session would start at 9 and we there on time. The crowd trickled in by 9.30 and the organizers shortly after that.<br>
<br>b. The internet wasn&#39;t working <br>which is why we had to wait for the organizers. By the time the issue was solved, it was 10 am.<br><br>c. One of the main sponsors (Temenos, for those who might be interested) had to give a presentation. Hence the organizers cut short the wikiAcademy to fit that presentation in.<br>
<br>Thus we were forced to wind up by 11.10am. Which is hardly sufficient for even an introductory session.<br><br>I think we all can agree that it isn&#39;t easy at all for a speaker with a set presentation, to adjust to this sort of sudden change. IMHO, Srikanth handled it well but few things were out of our hand.<br>

An MoU is a Memorandum of Understanding, not Memorandum of Agreement.<br>
It&#39;s not a binding contract. Hence it was informal. Also, wasn&#39;t it me<br>
who told Nitika and Naveen bout the Mou in the first place? Makes it<br>
my fault. We should&#39;ve said no at that point itself. I&#39;ll stay away<br>
till such time I earn a Laptop so I can follow Bala&#39;s practical<br>
methods.<br>
