2014 is the centenary year of the First World War. There are many edit-a-thons being planned on the same - https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/World_War_I_edit-a-thons_2014.

Early this year I had become interested in learning of Indian participation in this World War. It will be a good effort to undertake an effort to understand Indian participation and history in this war. 

Can we discuss what form our participation can take on-wiki?
