Hello Anshuman,

Not exactly able to understand your question? May I request you to be a more specific.

If your question concerns press release, a small suggestion would be do visit Press Club in Guwahati. You can drop a note on Assamese Wikipedia and generally journalist from print media cover them.

If your question covers growth of Assamese Wikipedia, maybe we can check on some metrics but Yes offline presence of Assamese Wikipedians have been reduced. Some 3-4 back I remember hearing about Assamese Wikitionary being closed due to inactivity and
Xobdo being the new place for dictionary.

But again, not exactly clear what is the precise agenda here.

Abhinav

Dear Wikipedians,

Apologies for my previous mail that was sent by mistake. Here are some additional news from Assamese Wiki.

# 93.5 Red FM  broadcasted an interview on Monday 11/06/12 (from 8 AM to 9 AM) with a Wikipedian Jyoti Prakash Nath about the 10th anniversary celebration program.
# Dy365 (TV News Channel) broadcasted an interview on Sunday 10/06/12 and Monday 11/06/12 (at 6 PM evening news) with a Wikipedian Bishnu Saikia about the 10th anniversary celebration program.

But this is very shameful for the Assamese print media because none of the Local news paper (Except Edinor Songbad) didn't published the news, even their reporters was also present at the event. Also the famous TV news channel "News Live" didn't visited the event.
