Thanks John. I don't intend to criticise anyone on the basis of age. Yet,
to me, it seems quite problematic when someone who understands little or
nothing about the cultural specificity of some distant geography goes about
deleting with such speed.
Sometime back, a prominent scholar who contributed immensely to the Konkani
language (a small language in coastal western India) was being dismissed as
non-notable. The reason? (i) The language is still largely not digitised
and (ii) even if it was, it would not be searchable via Google-type search
engines.

Dear Anshu,
What I mean that, suppose I have 50 files with the total volume of 1.5
GB in size that to be uploaded by mobile app, as I did not use any
such app with mobile, is it possible by android? Please note,
yesterday I have uploaded about 3 GB files by my computer. Is it
possible to make a " Mass Uploading Machine" by using mobile?

implementing Google OCR script to our all Indic Wikisource , they are
growing rapidly.

Ananya Mondal, the unsung hero of Bengali Wikipedia who is often credited
as the butterfly-wikipedian, for starting the initiative of Wiki Loves
Butterfly <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Loves_Butterfly>, the first
ever project in India to take photographs of butterflies. She started
editing on July 2015 and in just 13 months she has more than 9,051 edits
globally. With special interest on topics related to butterfly, venomous
snake and biochemistry she made over 90 articles on Bengali language
Wikipedia.
She got the idea of doing Wiki Loves Butterfly, when she discovered that
Wikimedia Commons does not have enough photographs of butterflies. Over the
course of 6 months, the project helped in getting more than 602 pictures,
53 articles on butterflies. She is now interested to work on Wikispecies,
to help there improve coverage on West Bengal associated butterflies.

We take immense pleasure in letting you all know, Wikimedia India would be
expanding the outreach of Wikimedia Projects to Indian Institute of
Management, Shillong (IIM-S).
Wikimedia India has also recently received an official invitation to hold
an interactive session with IIM-S students, this October-November.
IIM-S, being one of nation's management college of highest merit, has shown
its intent in doing projects to deliver inputs on key management practices
that can help Chapter & Indian Community shape better. Besides that, IIM-S
also intends to work on projects such as ' Influence of Wikipedia's
Information on Driving India's Financial System - An Initiative to Build
Articles on Indian Finances and observing the end results of readership and
how Wikipedia articles influences Investor's Behaviour'.
We look forward to the Indian Community for the necessary support and
inputs. The community feedback would definitely help to strengthen this
partnership.
