Thank you very much to everyone who came along to our Community Meeting this week. It was great to connect and discuss recent events together as a community.

I am reaching out to update you on the Community's decision on whether or not to exercise our vote in the upcoming Board Election. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_elections/2025/Candidates After a vote, it was decided that as an affiliate group, we will participate in the election, but it is at the discretion of the individual community members eligible to vote whether or not they exercise this.

The new Child Protection Policy was voted into motion unanimously and will be published on Meta very soon.
