Survey
It was agreed by those present that further events would be planned after completion of the survey of the Irish community. RO will sent the preliminary survey to several people in Wikimedia for consultation. The projected release of the survey is late January.
WLM/WLE
It was decided that a separate 1916 themed WLM category would be incorporated into the 2016 contest. It will include sites related to the 1916 Rising and its notable leaders. SE will create a preliminary list for the working group to consult. It is envisioned that this list will eventually encompass sites related to the entire revolutionary period of the next several years.
It was agreed that outreach needs to start earlier this year, with posters sent to OPW sites as well as libraries, local historical societies, ect.
We would like to run at Wiki Love Earth (WLE) contest in 2016, possibly in late spring or early summer. RO will reach out to UK and to other WLE groups in Wikimedia.
Chapter Formation
The consultation period on the by-laws has ended. EE will look at the comments and make any changes required. The working group will vote on the by-laws in January.
SE will begin the paperwork on the Annual Program Grants (APG). Applications for the next round of funding begins in June 2016.
The first meeting of 2016 will be held in Dublin on 5 January 2016 at 6:30. If you would like to attend in person or via Google Hangouts please email wikimediaireland@gmail.com
