Editing events in TOG Hackerspace

We will be continuing our monthly editing events in TOG Hackerspace on Wednesday 28 February from 7-9pm. Whether you are new to Wikipedia or an old hand at editing, come along for a chat with fellow Wikimedians! All you need is a laptop - WiFi and refreshments will be provided!

To get a reminder about this and other upcoming event sign up on the TOG Meetup page, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Art+Feminism

Art+Feminism will be returning in March 2018. We are currently at the planning stages of a number of events that will be run around the country, so watch this space for more details! Details on the international campaign are on the main website here.

Academia and Wikipedia: Critical Perspectives in Education and Research

This conference will be taking place in Maynooth, 18 June 2018. The call for papers is still open, and will close on 28 February 2018. All of the details can be found here.

Women in Red

During the month of January, the Wiki Project Women in Red ran an editing campaign to focus on writing and improving articles about women from Great Britain and Ireland. A number of Irish women were written about including Nicola Gordon Bowe and Irene Gilbert. You can see the results of the month long event here. Given that it is 100 years since women's suffrage in Ireland and the UK, we're hoping this is a start to an important year for women's history on Wikipedia!
