This week is Science Week in Ireland. To celebrate we are holding an online Editathon and would like to invite you to participate! We need your help in advancing Wikipedia towards increasing the visibility and information about Science in Ireland, particularly Irish women in STEM. 

Are you a Gaeilgeoir or even a Gaeilgeoir in training? Why not use this Editathon as an opportunity to practice using your 'cúpla Focal'? There's plenty of room for improvement on Vicipéid about science-related topics and critically a huge lack of info about Irish Women in STEM. Just make sure to change the URL to ga.wikipedia.org when using the article finder to find suitable articles in Irish on the event dashboard (please see the image attached for reference).

Remember even small changes are meaningful, so if you don't have time to create a new article you can edit, fix typos, add sources or citations, or even translate pages or sections to Irish! 

Anyone can participate and the Editathon will run until the end of the month. You can find more information and editing tutorials on our website. Please feel free to reach out for help, or if you have any questions.
