Wikimedia Community Ireland Newsletter – March 2019

Art+Feminism

March will see the return of the global editing phenomena – Art+Feminism. We are delighted to announce that we are working with several partners to deliver more workshops than last year across the country.

Thursday 14 March, join us in the Library of Trinity College, Dublin where we will be Writing Women Writers on Wikipedia from 2-4pm.

Tuesday 16 April, we will be in The Edward Murphy Library of National College of Art and Design, Dublin from 10am-1pm focusing on Irish women artists including those featured in the collections of NIVAL.

We will keep you up to date on other events as they are confirmed! If you want to get involved in this campaign, please get in touch.

Editing events in TOG Hackerspace

We continue our monthly editing events in TOG Hackerspace on Wednesday 27 March from 7-9pm. Whether you are new to Wikipedia or an old hand at editing, come along for a chat with fellow Wikimedians. All you need is a laptop – WiFi and pizza will be provided!

To get a reminder about this and other upcoming event sign up on the TOG Meetup page, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Getting Involved!

Is there an event you think Wikimedia Community Ireland should get involved in, or should look at organising? Do you have idea for an event or campaign you'd like to work on with us? Would you like to join us as part of organising committee? Or have any other good ideas, then get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
