Conferences

• DBpedia Workshop-SF gave the keynote address which went well. The main focus of the group is on data. Met 1 person interested in helping run a Vicipéid event in Galway

• Celtic Knot-RO attended

• 2 other Irish attendees who are very keen to help run Vicipeid events

• Interesting talk about how to talk to language groups

• Other small language Wikipedias don’t have a sandbox function-RO will start a conversation about getting that implemented for Vicipéid

• Auto-creating stubs has worked for other small language groups. Might work for Vicipéid

• Relaxing notability standards has worked in other languages

• Possible focus on Galway City of Culture in 2020

• Re:publica-Sept-we will look into it and decide if we want to run a workshop

• We need to start recruiting judges

• SE will contact Archeofest about launch

• RO look into ordering banners/flyers

• We need to find a place for the awards ceremony
