Thanks, Sifle. You may be right. We could be getting ahead of ourselves.
In your absence too it might be wiser to wait until we meet face-to-face before choosing someone to act as a press contact.
During the initial raft of emails, I remember it was suggested that we keep this upcoming meet-up informal with a mind to a follow-up meeting on the topic of a Wikimedia Ireland. Maybe we could trim our advertisement of this meet-up to solely being a meet-up of Wikimedians and keep it informal. We might otherwise end up sounding like we were advertising a "meeting about a meeting" with little of no substance.
I think so we should hold off altering the press to our intentions until we have firm plans.
What do others think?

I'm going on indefinite wikibreak as of very shortly, so I won't be able to act as any contact etc. for the time being. I do wonder if we are going off half-cocked — what do we hope to achieve by media attention at this early stage?
