itWikiCon 2026.
Come saprete già, dal 6 all'8 novembre 2026 a Vezia (Lugano) si apriranno le
porte della Villa Negroni per [1]itWikiCon 2026. Questo convegno unisce
ispirazione, innovazione e scambio di idee in un evento di tre giorni. Le
pre-iscrizioni sono disponibili da subito ed è il primo passo per manifestare
il vostro interesse a partecipare. Inoltre, in questo modo darete un
contributo fondamentale al team organizzativo nella pianificazione logistica
dell’evento.

Cultural Data Hackathon <https://opendata.ch/events/glamhack2026/>,
GLAMhack26, taking place in Winterthur on 13-14 November 2026.
Organized in partnership with the Stiftung für Kunst, Kultur und
Geschichte(SKKG), GLAMhack26 brings together cultural institutions,
software developers, GLAM professionals (GLAM: galleries, libraries,
archives, museums), digital humanists, artists, Wikipedians,
researchers, and creative technologists to explore new ideas and foster
innovation in the cultural heritage sector.

This year’s theme is Hack the Gap – Bridging Analog and Digital Worlds.
During the two days of the hackathon, participants will collaborate to
create innovative prototypes exploring how cultural heritage can move
fluidly between the physical and digital realms – ensuring broader
access, deeper understanding, and more inclusive participation.

Skill-building Workshops and Opening Night (12 November 2026)
Join us already on 12 November, in the afternoon, for a special
pre-event programme featuring hands-on workshops on topics such as:

Publishing and sharing cultural data
In the evening, participants are invited to an opening programme
including a keynote lecture, a panel discussion around this year’s
theme, and an artistic performance. Further details will be announced soon.
