Wiki Loves Pride is a global campaign to expand and improve LGBT-related content across all Wikimedia projects, in all languages. The activities of Wiki Loves Pride are focused on June, traditionally a month when lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities around the world celebrate LGBT culture and history. We invite you to participate in a series of edit-a-thons and photography campaigns to help improve Wikipedia's coverage of LGBT-related content.

Also featuring a lightning talk by CUNY students at the La Guardia and Wagner Archives in a project to document local 1980s HIV/AIDS activism on Wikipedia.

All are invited, with no specialized knowledge of the subject or Wikipedia editing experience required. A brief overview of the basics of Wikipedia editing will be given at the start of the edit-a-thon. Please bring your laptop and power cord; we will have library resources, WiFi, and a list of suggested topics on hand.
