An update for tomorrow, spend the rainy day inside with art and open knowledge, with a wiki-cake finale:

Join us at The Met for a Wikipedia edit-a-thon focused on the history, art, and culture of America—and the understanding that each of us brings to America. America's past and evolution is a complex tapestry of cultures, from Indigenous peoples to settlers, enslaved peoples, pioneers, and immigrants. Each culture, together with the growing pains of war, industry, and expansion, has provided a rich history of our past in the objects that artists and artisans created.

---When & Where---
Date: Saturday, January 25, 2020
Time: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Bonnie Sacerdote Classroom, Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education

We have a special tour of the American Wing at 1pm, and we'll end the day with wiki-cake, and briefly sing in Wikipedia's new year!

And maybe some of us will head out to a bar afterward for an informal Wikipedia Night.
