The main item on our meeting agenda for Tuesday, August 12th, 7PM on Zoom, is event planning for our Eastern North Carolina WikiPix event. We're hoping this can be a hybrid event with Eastern Carolina University (ECU).

We've previously held a similar, but online-only, event focused on Western North Carolina, so the event planning shouldn't be too big of a lift. This is a great opportunity to get more involved in the North Carolina Wikimedia community.

To-do: * Help us make decisions about date and time; Possible tie-in to ECU's student involvement fair https://calendar.ecu.edu/event/get_a_clue Thursday, August 29, 2013 1:00pm to 4:00pm EDT. * Coordinate on-site activities with ECU (where there has been some interest in forming a student club) * Identify Eastern NC photos from our WikiPics Campaign * Identify presenters / hosts for online and onsite activities * Review activity instructions https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SHz0G8jS2QqAZR4MLUF6JUndpKPsB8q_NLI-AXF8... for clarity and completeness * Publicize the event * Anything else I'm forgetting?
