Hey NC Wikipedia friends!

We're ten days into the photo campaign and it seems like it's going well! There are 200 photos uploaded, from all over the state, and there are a lot of great ones! You can see them all here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Uploaded_via_Campaign:WikiPixNC

There's a local photography group meeting tonight and I think they're going to mention the campaign at their meeting. I also submitted PSAs to four college radio stations (WNCU, WXYC, WXDU, and WKNC) and sent a message to the historic sites directors for the eastern and western parts of the state. But honestly, I think the banner is doing a lot of work, so thanks again to Richard for making that happen!

I'm inclined to schedule our next meeting as a wrap-up, sometime after June 22 when the campaign ends, unless anyone thinks we should meet before then. OR unless anyone is feeling motivated to work on a grant for a Wikimania meet-up... but I just realized those grant applications are due on Friday. If anyone wants to discuss, email is probably the best way to go... and soon!
